<p style="text-align: left;"> In modern and contemporary art, abstraction, gives artists the room to discover an‘alternative principle’ which allows them to escape from the narratives of our collective and individual existence to create a ‘pure art’, free from human tragedy that is personal and even universal. This exhibition posits the function of these abstract ideologies in the art world today, where one is dealing with the multiplicities of our lives, that are both ‘virtual’ and ‘real’. We have been introduced to the idea of the multi-verse where things exist and affect each other simultaneously.</p>
