About The Artist
Like many others, my journey as an artist started with exploring the human form. But soon enough I started visualising these forms in different spaces and dimensions
I take my inspiration from these spaces around me and that has been the trigger for my arm. These spaces and forms play a very important role in my art Through the shapes, I try to convey the calmness and tensions of life around us I have always felt there is a story in every space! Each form, cach corner tells a tale and that's what is intriguing to me
Over the years, my art grew as a representation of what I saw around me I started representing these stories through my two-dimensional art. But I knew it wasn't enough. In the past, I extended my abstraction of spaces to 3 dimensions where people could interact with my art. I made installa tions and artworks using old antique objects. This helped me tell a more far-reaching story than I could tell in 2 dimensions
In my current series. I am working at a junction of forms and abstraction I have gone beyond colour to tangible maternal like tea, coffee, sun boards ete to depict textures. I intersperse these tex-tures with forms that inspire me daily. I want to extend this series of amalgamation of textures and forms to explore another chapter in the three-dimensional space. I want to narrate my thought pro cess using mixed media and abstract this art form to experiences that go beyond our span of visuali
