Naturally he is the head of Soni Film Family that consist of Mrs. Prithvi Soni, the stage artist, who hascontributed a lot for Theatre. This artist of brave concepts and strong creative skill, was born on 16th April 1949 inBahdurgarh, Dist. Rohtak, Haryana. He had a passion for painting from the very beginning. In 1965 he got the trainingin The Art Of Painting, at Rang Roop Studio, Dallost, Andhra Pradesh. His art and style was groomed by Shri Tilak Raj.
