About The Artist

Born in 1974, Mumbai. Siddharth Das is a trained designer from the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad. He also pursued a degree in History from Delhi University followed by a short course on Exhibition and Museum Design from Domus Academy, Italy and apprenticed with Raghu Rai to learn about photography for some months. A multi talented artist, Siddhartha’s art, design and cultural practice includes a wide range of projects from exhibition & spatial breitling kopior design to graphic design, from craft & accessories projects to lecturing and teaching as well as photographic assignments with various organizations in India as well as internationally. A passionate and accomplished photographer, his repertoire includes series featuring the life of a barber, waterscapes, trees, structures and textiles. An imaginative weaving of varied forms of creativity and an eye for detail, make his photographs stand apart.
