“Living in military protected Camp in Kashmir is safe, though saddening at times. There are restrictions on moving in and out to the camp and whom you bring inside the camp. I dream of living and moving freely in Kashmir without restrictions for safety. Though it seems like a dream only. Maybe the manifestation of this dream is my beloved Parrot Janu whom I freely fly at home without keeping her in the cage or having her feathers cut. I hope she feels safe and free in the middle of the army camp”.
