He did not wish to be named or write anything for the picture. His journey from the heaven of Kashmir to the harsh reality of refugee tents in Jammu meant enduring years with the lowest hygiene and facilities. The hot climate made their heavy pherhans stick to their skin. Despite these atrocities, he has moved on and now wishes for love and peace for everyone. Keeping a box of soil from Kashmir is his only tangible connection to his lost paradise. Imagine having to leave your home, belongings, and everything familiar to start from zero in a strange city, burdened with anger from injustice and feeling ignored and abandoned. Could you do it? We might not be able to do it... But hats off to the Kashmiri Pandit community, who made it. Faridabad, Haryana
