“Whenever I look at these Big Horns lying in my house, they remind me of the mountains, and Kashmir and I feel sad. In the ignominy of living as refugees, in the heat and pollution of Delhi, with no support or help, I badly miss the honour and happiness of a life at home, in the cool, refreshing climate of Kashmir. I often feel suffocated, as though the ceiling is closing in and collapsing on me. My heart and mind are always fixated on Kashmir. My father died longing for Kashmir, repeating constantly that I will go back to Kashmir. But, there is nothing I can do”.
