“I sometimes visit the debris of the destroyed houses of Kashmiri Pandits who were massacred in Wandhama. The site is deeply unsettling, and also fills me with a strange sense of peace. I feel the presence of the 23 innocent lives lost here. While the ruins of these houses allow me to somewhat connect with souls of some of those massacred, I am still searching for hope”.
