Born in Tamil Nadu, India, 1982. He holds a BFA, 2004 and an MFA, 2006 from the Government College of Arts, Chennai. For Saravanan, change is the only unchanging thing, which becomes a recurring theme in his work. He traces the progress of ant holes, mud hills, umbras, penumbras and other transitional/ transformational phenomena, which are guide to the ever-changing play of nature, material, form and light.
